"Lorsque Saila de Sikusiilaw arrivait au camp, personne ne se trouvait dans les parages car ils étaient très méfiants à l'égard de Saila. Les gens du campement regardaient à travers les trous des tentes ; il y avait même de la crasse noire autour du bord du trou. C'était un chaman, mais il n'utilisait pas son pouvoir contre les gens. Il montait dans son bateau en bois qu'il avait lui-même fabriqué pour montrer sa domination à son peuple".
