Marie-Jeanne Musiol continues her photographic explorations at the intersection of botany and electromagnetism, adorning the walls with leaves that populate her energetic herbarium.
She assembles a vast energetic herbarium with the luminous imprints of plants, from which she also extracts mirror images of the cosmos. She exhibits her photographic series in the form of light boxes and installations in galleries and museums in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.
Her videos capture the vital expression of plants pulsating in the light. In the photographic book La Forêt radieuse, published in 2018 by Éditions pfoac, she describes the creative arc that takes her from electromagnetic photography to the holographic dimensions of the universe.
