"Mixed feelings come with deep freeze and change. While walking shifting mountain trails in winter and spring months in Val Morin, I am reminded of water’s many shapes. Changing glacial formations transform the Laurentian Plateau daily. While seasonal cycles reveal melting surfaces and textures, I am reminded of our thawing permafrost layer and its impact on people and their environment.
